“Real Madrid Fines Players €500k after Training Incident”

Real Madrid has imposed fines of 500,000 euros ($588,000 US) each on Federico Valverde and Aurelien Tchouameni following an incident during a training session. The altercation resulted in Valverde sustaining a head injury that required hospital treatment.

The disciplinary measures were taken by the club in response to the clash between the two midfielders. Valverde clarified on social media that there was no physical altercation involving punches; he accidentally hit a table, leading to a minor cut and the hospital visit.

Both players expressed regret and offered apologies to each other, leading to the conclusion of the disciplinary process, as stated in a release by Real Madrid. Tchouameni resumed training with the team ahead of their upcoming match against Barcelona, while Valverde was absent from practice as he continues to recover from his head injury.

Real Madrid faces a crucial game against Barcelona, with the outcome potentially impacting the La Liga title race.
