“Justin Bieber Makes History with 5th Best Male Pop Artist Win”

Justin Bieber made history at the American Music Awards, securing his fifth win for best male pop artist, a feat no other musician has achieved before. Hailing from Stratford, Ontario, Bieber had previously clinched the title four times, starting in 2010 when the award was known as favorite pop/rock male artist.

At this year’s awards show in Las Vegas, Bieber was a nominee in four categories, including artist of the year and album of the year for his work on “Swag.” This latest victory adds to Bieber’s impressive tally of 19 American Music Awards, putting him on par with the late Kenny Rogers for the second-most wins by a male artist. The all-time record among male artists still belongs to the late Michael Jackson, who holds 24 awards.

Recently, the “Peaches” singer staged a triumphant return to the stage at Coachella, marking his comeback after a hiatus due to health issues related to Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which led him to cancel a tour back in 2022.

Other standout winners at the ceremony included BTS, who snagged the coveted artist of the year title, and Sabrina Carpenter, who walked away with album of the year honors.
