“Banff Upper Hot Springs Reopen After Renovation”

The Banff Upper Hot Springs have officially reopened to the public following a period of closure for renovations that began in September. Parks Canada made the announcement of the reopening via social media on Tuesday afternoon, confirming that the popular attraction is now accessible to visitors.

Operating hours for the hot springs are from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. daily, including the upcoming Easter weekend. Originally planned to reopen in December after the renovation project commenced in September 2025, the site faced delays in its completion.

Situated at the base of Sulphur Mountain, the Banff Upper Hot Springs have been a prominent tourist destination since the 1800s, known for their mineral-rich waters. While the springs are now open to the public, Parks Canada mentioned that some final exterior work on the building is still in progress.

Parks Canada expressed gratitude to visitors for their patience during the renovation period and emphasized the significance of the site as a treasured heritage experience.
