Jonsson expressed his gratitude for joining the Marvel family and preferred to let his performance speak for itself. The highly anticipated Black Panther III is slated for release on December 15, 2028.
Since Boseman’s passing in 2020, the storyline introduced in 2022’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever hinted at T’Challa having a son. This revelation led fans to speculate on who would inherit the Black Panther mantle, with actors like Damson Idris and Letitia Wright being considered.
The original Black Panther film from 2018 was groundbreaking, earning an Oscar nomination for Best Picture and grossing over $1.3 billion globally. The sequel also performed well, raking in $850 million at the box office.
In another exciting casting update, Ryan Gosling will team up with director Shawn Levy for the film Ghost Rider. Gosling expressed his long-standing desire to play the character, which marks his return to the superhero genre after his role in Star Wars: Starfighter.
Furthermore, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige shared plans for re-releasing Avengers: Endgame</em in theaters with additional footage connecting it to the upcoming film Avengers: Doomsday, scheduled for release on December 18. The Doomsday trailer teased a connection between Robert Downey Jr.’s Victor Von Doom, Pedro Pascal’s Reed Richards, and Vanessa Kirby’s Sue Storm.
