Set decorator Mary Kate Golding, aged 34, known for her work on popular TV series like “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” and “Goosebumps,” was discovered deceased in her residence in Queens, New York, on Tuesday. Responding to a 911 call shortly after midnight, the police found Golding with a stab wound in her back, and she was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a spokesperson from the New York Police Department.

Later in the morning at around 6:39 a.m. ET, authorities received another call regarding an unconscious man near Astoria Park in Queens. The man, estimated to be between 30 and 35 years old, was also pronounced dead at the location. Reports suggest that the deceased man was identified as Joseph Azzaretto, Golding’s husband, with sources hinting at a potential murder-suicide scenario under investigation.

Golding’s impressive portfolio includes contributing as a set decorator on the initial six episodes of the first season of Prime Video’s “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.” Her previous projects encompassed works like “The Big Sick,” “Gotham,” “The Undoing,” “The Flight Attendant,” “Hawkeye,” and more recent ventures such as “Goosebumps.” She was slated to be part of the upcoming film “Deep Cuts.”
