“New Details Emerge in Tragic Case of Missing Alberta Baby”

In the ongoing search for a missing baby girl following her mother’s tragic death, Alberta RCMP have disclosed new, distressing information about the case. The Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit remains dedicated to investigating the murder of Ayla Egotik-Learn and the presumed passing of her daughter, Braylee Beasley, seeking assistance from the public to assist in locating the infant’s remains.

In a recent statement, RCMP revealed that they suspect Braylee’s remains might have been discarded near the site where her mother’s deceased body was found. Investigators believe that the infant’s body could have been placed in a waste disposal bin at Sturgeon Point Villas Apartments between mid-September and mid-November 2025. RCMP emphasized the importance of determining the timeline accurately to pinpoint potential search areas.

According to RCMP, the waste disposal bin outside door 11 of the apartment building is believed to have been used to dispose of Braylee’s body. Authorities are appealing for anyone who might have discarded significant bedroom furniture in the bin during that period to come forward. Providing information on the furniture disposal date is crucial for identifying potential search locations, as per RCMP.

In their efforts to recover Braylee’s remains, RCMP has solicited any relevant information that could aid in the investigation. They have released images, a map of the area, and a dedicated QR code for submitting tips. The RCMP reiterated their commitment to locating Braylee’s remains and exhaustively exploring all investigative leads.

Previously, police had indicated that Egotik-Learn’s demise occurred in early December, but now, RCMP disclosed that the 23-year-old was likely killed in September. The discovery of her remains was triggered by a property manager who noticed a suspicious package during an eviction process.

Christopher Beasley, the 33-year-old partner of Egotik-Learn and father of the baby, has been charged with second-degree murder and two counts of indignity to a body in connection to the case. The second-degree murder charge is related to Egotik-Learn’s death, while the indignity to a body charges pertain to both mother and daughter. Beasley, currently in custody, had a history of assaulting Egotik-Learn and is scheduled to appear in court on April 20.

Egotik-Learn is fondly remembered by her family as a loving, devoted mother whose world revolved around her beloved daughter.
