“Québécois French Version of ‘The Simpsons’ Saved for 36th Season”

Bell Media has successfully secured a deal with Disney Entertainment to continue airing the Québécois French version of “The Simpsons,” ensuring the beloved series will return for its 36th season. The upcoming season will be broadcast on Bell Media’s Noovo television channel and will also be available for streaming on Crave.

Last year, fans expressed disappointment when Corus Entertainment chose not to renew the broadcast rights, forcing francophone viewers to watch new episodes in European French. Following an online petition with thousands of signatures, the Québécois dubbing, known for incorporating local references and expressions for 35 seasons, has been reinstated.

Viewers can look forward to enjoying the familiar voices of Bart and Lisa Simpson delivering the good news in Québécois French in a video shared on Noovo’s social media platforms. While the Québécois seasons remain one year behind the American version, fans can catch up on seasons one to 35 in Québécois French on Disney+.

The return of the Québécois version of “The Simpsons” has been met with excitement and relief among dedicated fans who cherish the unique localization of the series.
